With a playoff win on the line, Davenport rose to the challenge on Friday. They put the hurt on the Burnet Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. Davenport's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

They hit Burnet with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Josh Atampi, Chance Espinosa, and Vicente Hernandez.

Davenport has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those eight contests. This is the second loss in a row for Burnet and nudges their season record down to 8-11-3.

Looking ahead, Davenport will challenge San Antonio Memorial at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Davenport will need to watch out since San Antonio Memorial has now posted at least four goals in their last three games. Burnet does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
