Soccer Recap: Waller Comes Up Short

Waller was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cypress Ranch Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in January.

Waller's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Cypress Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waller will square off against Bridgeland at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Bridgeland will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Waller surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cypress Ranch, they will take on Cypress Woods at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
