Recap: Willapa Valley Vikings vs. Pe Ell Trojans
The Willapa Valley Vikings were the 57-44 winner over the Pe Ell Trojans when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Willapa Valley took a 43-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pe Ell on Tuesday.
Willapa Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lucas Lusk, who scored six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Fluke, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Willapa Valley now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Pe Ell, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10.
Willapa Valley will head out on the road to take on Mossyrock at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pe Ell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Three Rivers Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Three Rivers Christian is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
