Soccer Game Preview: Franklin County vs. Marshall County

The Franklin County Rebels will face off against the Marshall County Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Franklin County and Central Magnet finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Marshall County kept a clean sheet against Cascade on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Champions. Given Marshall County's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 70th, while Cascade are ranked 233rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Marshall County's win bumped their record up to 11-1-1. With that draw, Franklin County's record moves to 6-4-3.

Everything went Franklin County's way against Marshall County in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Franklin County made off with a 7-1 victory. In that contest, the Rebels amassed a halftime lead of 4-1, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
