Baseball Recap: Alta Picks Up 11th Straight Win at Home

Alta entered their tilt with West on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by ten runs or more this season.

Levi Stevenson spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, McCoy Johnson was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Johnson is also crushing it when it comes to home runs: he's launched at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Abel Velador was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
