Volleyball Recap: El Dorado Aztecs vs. Del Valle Conquistadores

El Dorado entered their tilt with Del Valle on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Del Valle Conquistadores by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Aztecs also won the last time the pair played on October 1st.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-13, 23-25, 25-13.

El Dorado got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Penelope Garcia out in front who had eight aces and seven digs. That's the most aces Garcia has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Natalia Ruiz, who had 24 digs.

El Dorado was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Del Valle only served 12.

El Dorado has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-17 record this season. As for Del Valle, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-15.
