Football Recap: St. Margaret's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

St. Margaret was the 28-21 winner over Capistrano Valley Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tartans fell 21-16 to the Eagles on Friday. The loss was the Tartans' first of the season.

Luke Vincent had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 133 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.3 yards per carry for Capistrano Valley Christian.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Margaret's fell to 3-1. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Coming up, St. Margaret's will head out to square off against Laguna Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. After each having a week off, Capistrano Valley Christian and Valley Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
