Kosciusko entered their tilt with Caledonia on Friday with 15 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 16. They blew past the Caledonia Cavaliers 70-33. The Whippets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kosciusko to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cory Guyton Jr, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 18 points. Jaybre Pierce was another key player, putting up eight points along with nine assists and five steals.

Kosciusko smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 29 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Kosciusko's win bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Caledonia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-8 record this season.

Coming up, Kosciusko will be playing at home against North Pontotoc at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in North Pontotoc's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. Caledonia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
