Football Recap: Calvin Christian Takes a Loss

Calvin Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 32-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Julian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-12 back in August.

Calvin Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Julian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Calvin Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Francis Parker at 6:30 p.m. on the 10th. As for Julian, they will challenge Borrego Springs at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
