Baseball Recap: Central Davidson Takes a Loss

Central Davidson saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Randleman Tigers by a score of 8-7. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Randleman, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-3.

Coming up, Central Davidson will be taking part in a tournament against South Stanly at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The Bulls have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.31 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of. Randleman will be paying especially close attention to Central Davidson's contest: after Central Davidson faces off against High Point Central, they'll take on Randleman again at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
