Basketball Game Preview: Sidney Team vs. Susquehanna Valley Sabers

The Sidney Team will take on the Susquehanna Valley Sabers in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Sidney has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with five losses in a row dating back to last season, Sidney turned things around against Unatego on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 58-48. The Team's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Susquehanna Valley played a tough matchup on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 101-38 defeat at the hands of Seton Catholic Central. The Sabers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-16.

Susquehanna Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sidney, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
