Softball Recap: LBJ Austin Jaguars vs. Eastside Early College Panthers
If LBJ Austin was feeling good fresh off their 29-17 takedown of Northeast Early College last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jaguars came up short against the Eastside Early College Panthers on Tuesday, falling 20-2. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.
Jiselle Edgley made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
LBJ Austin's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Eastside Early College, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Coming up, LBJ Austin will be playing in front of their home fans against Travis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
