For the second straight game, Tremont will face off against Vardaman. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Rams at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tremont has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tremont heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-0 to Vardaman, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost eight in a row.

The win made it two in a row for Vardaman and bumps their season record up to 17-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Tremont, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-18.
