Soccer Game Preview: Adams City vs. Aurora Central

The Adams City Eagles will square off against the Aurora Central Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Aurora Central took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Adams City, who comes in off a win.

Adams City's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Skyview as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Adams City, who have now won seven contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Skyview from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Hilary Delgado led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Aurora Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Gateway, falling 3-0. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Aurora Central struggled afterwards.

Adams City pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 46 goals over those five matchups. As for Aurora Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1.
