Soccer Recap: Hillsborough Comes Up Short

Hillsborough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lennard Longhorns, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that the Terriers have lost by exactly eight goals.

Hillsborough's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Lennard, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-8.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Hillsborough will be playing in front of their home fans against East Bay at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Hillsborough is facing East Bay at the right time seeing as East Bay is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. Lennard has already played their next game (against Manatee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
