The Fort Atkinson Blackhawks will take on the Oregon Panthers at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Fort Atkinson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7  runs per game  this season.
While Fort Atkinson's  victory against Cambridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blackhawks skirted past the Bluejays  5-3.
  Lauren Wessels was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases and two  runs. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Sawyer Guth, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Oregon put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Beaver Dam  a   4-0 shutout. Those four runs were actually the fewest the Panthers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
 Oregon's win was  their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-0. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Atkinson,  the  win  got them back to even at 4-4.
 Fort Atkinson suffered a grim  14-3 defeat to Oregon  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024. Can the Blackhawks avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
