Dundy County-Stratton had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Silver Lake Mustangs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Tigers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Mustangs, so the Tigers were just returning the favor.

Clara Spargo paced Dundy County-Stratton's offense, picking up nine kills. Spargo got some help from Bree Lutz and her 15 assists. Finally, Abi Spargo kept Dundy County-Stratton's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

This is the second loss in a row for Silver Lake and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Dundy County-Stratton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Ansley/Litchfield on the 30th. As for Silver Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Ainsworth on the 30th.
