Softball Recap: White Mountains Takes a Loss

White Mountains was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Littleton Crusaders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 18-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

White Mountains' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Littleton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White Mountains will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Newfound Regional at 4:00 p.m. on May 5. As for Littleton, they will challenge Lisbon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
