Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Arturo Martinez and Armani Rubio Lead Kelly to Victory

Kelly won the last time they faced ACERO Garcia and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 51-28 victory.

Kelly was led to victory by Armani Rubio and Arturo Martinez. Rubio almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds, while Martinez posted nine points and six steals. What's more, Martinez posted three assists, the most he's had since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Xu Li, who had six points and seven boards.

Kelly's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for ACERO Garcia, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kelly will host Mansueto at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for ACERO Garcia, they will welcome Horizon Science Academy-Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on the 4th.
