Softball Recap: Bandera Comes Up Short

Bandera was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They came up short against the Fredericksburg Billies, falling 18-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Billies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.

Bandera's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Fredericksburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bandera will square off against Wimberley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fredericksburg, they will venture away from home to challenge Davenport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Billies surely won't give up without a fight.
