Eufaula and Idabel are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Ironheads will square off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eufaula has given up an average of 41 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eufaula is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 49-42 win over Stigler on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Idabel got themselves on the board against Locust Grove on Thursday, but Locust Grove never followed suit. They blew past the Pirates, posting a 54-0 victory. That 54 point margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Eufaula better keep an eye on Jashawn Dixon. He was instrumental in Idabel's win, rushing for 143 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries. Jordyn Lewis made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Idabel was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 364 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Idabel, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Lewis, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Idabel has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.6 points over those games. As for Eufaula, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Eufaula couldn't quite get it done against Idabel in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 37-27. Can the Ironheads avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
