Baseball Recap: Eagle's View Takes a Loss

If Eagle's View was feeling good fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Cedar Creek Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagle's View Warriors came up short against the St. Joseph Academy Flashes on Tuesday, falling 15-2.

Eagle's View saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan La Rosa, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. La Rosa also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Eagle's View now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Joseph Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Eagle's View will face off against Baker County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Joseph Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Atlantic Coast at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games Atlantic Coast has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
