Baseball Recap: Neumann Falls Short of Canterbury in the Playoffs

Neumann and Canterbury squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Neumann had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Celtics have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Neumann and nudges their season record down to 20-13. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for Canterbury, they pushed their record up to 24-11 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

As of now, neither Neumann nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
