Page is 0-6 against Holbrook since April of 2016 but things could change on Saturday. The Sand Devils will host the Roadrunners at 4:00 p.m. Page is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
Page gave up the first runs last Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over Ganado.

Page got a great performance from Jaren Scott as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. That's the most strikeouts Scott has posted since back in March of 2024.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mason Yazzie, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. He has become a key player for Page: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 5-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Mckyle Manygoats, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.
Page kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Holbrook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Show Low 3-2.
Baler Reidhead spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Holbrook's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ben Eisele, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Ty Larson was another, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Page now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Holbrook, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 9-11.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Page has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.9 hits per game. However, it's not like Holbrook struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Page suffered a grim 21-4 defeat to Holbrook in their previous matchup back in March of 2018. Can the Sand Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
