Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 67-41 to the Auburndale Bloodhounds. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Auburndale was led to victory by Jaden Lindsay and DEREK RAMIREZ. Lindsay went 7 of 10 on his way to 17 points and eight rebounds, while RAMIREZ went 8 of 9 on his way to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Camren Sneed, who posted five points and five steals.

Trinity Christian Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Auburndale, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Trinity Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-63 win against Lyman on the 16th. As for Auburndale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 49-45 defeat against Ocoee on the 14th.
