Billings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sparta Trojans. On the bright side, the eight- run effort marked the Wildcats' highest-scoring game to date.

Billings' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sparta, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Billings will face off against Crane at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sparta, they will take on Blue Eye at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
