Basketball Game Preview: King & Queen Central Royal Tigers vs. Charles City Panthers

The King & Queen Central Royal Tigers will take on the Charles City Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for King & Queen Central and three for Charles City.

Last Thursday, King & Queen Central was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-49 to West Point.

King & Queen Central might have lost, but man, Gerard Hill was a machine: he posted 25 points.

Meanwhile, Charles City came up short against Mathews on Thursday and fell 63-55.

Charles City's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for King & Queen Central, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

King & Queen Central strolled past Charles City in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 55-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for King & Queen Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
