Volleyball Recap: Put-in-Bay Comes Up Short

Put-in-Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Woodward Polar Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Put-in-Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Woodward, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Put-in-Bay will take on Bowling Green Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Woodward, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Monclova Christian Academy on the 15th.
