Basketball Recap: Kirtland Central Comes Up Short

Kirtland Central was the 61-57 winner over Piedra Vista when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Kirtland Central Broncos had to suffer through a 64-36 loss at the hands of the Piedra Vista Panthers. The Broncos just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Kirtland Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Piedra Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kirtland Central will host Shiprock at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Piedra Vista, they will face off against Miyamura at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Piedra Vista is facing Miyamura at the right time seeing as Miyamura is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
