Basketball Recap: Southwest Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Deric Kelley and Houston Billeter

Southwest lost against Medicine Valley last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Southwest Roughriders lost 63-37 to the Medicine Valley Raiders.

Southwest's loss came despite strong showings from Houston Billeter and Deric Kelley. Billeter posted ten points, while Kelley went 6 of 11 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds.

Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Medicine Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Southwest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-42 defeat against Decatur Community on the 14th. As for Medicine Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-44 loss against Dundy County-Stratton on the 14th.
