Mount Desert Island's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4. As for Washington Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

Mount Desert Island took their win against Washington Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 69-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mount Desert Island since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
