Volleyball Recap: Southwest Takes a Loss

Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Northeast Raiders. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Raiders when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Southwest may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 20 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20.

Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Northeast, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.

Southwest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Howard on the 3rd. As for Northeast, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Westside on the 4th.
