With a playoff win on the line, St. Patrick rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Southeast Lauderdale Tigers. Considering the Fighting Irish have won 14 games by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Southeast Lauderdale with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Michael Baty (3), John Mattina (3), Cameron Messer, and Sam Burke.

St. Patrick has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those eight matches. As for Southeast Lauderdale, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-7 record.

St. Patrick will square off against Loyd Star on Tuesday. Loyd Star will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something St. Patrick surely won't give up without a fight. Southeast Lauderdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
