Baseball Recap: Maplewood Comes Up Short

Maplewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-0 to the Lawson Lightning. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lightning this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Monday.

Maplewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lawson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-8.

While Maplewood had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
