Soccer Game Preview: Hidden Valley vs. Patrick Henry

Hidden Valley is 0-10 against Patrick Henry since March of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Titans will be playing at home against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hidden Valley took a five-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Salem, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Titans' defense stepped up to hand the Spartans a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. Hidden Valley wouldn't have won without Truett Bartlett, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Patrick Henry strolled into their game on Tuesday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. They blew past Pulaski County 5-0. The result was nothing new for Patrick Henry, who have now won three contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Patrick Henry's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three games. As for Hidden Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1.

Hidden Valley came up short against Patrick Henry in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
