Mountain View came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Big Piney Punchers 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Buffalos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mountain View was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-19.

Addyson Stephens paced Mountain View's offense, picking up 13 kills. Stephens got some help from Mariah Micheli and her 31 assists. Emily Anderson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 14-10-1. As for Big Piney, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View will welcome Green River at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Big Piney, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Farson-Eden at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th.
