Spanish Fork waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Salem Hills Skyhawks with points to spare, taking the game 71-57. This was payback for the Dons, who suffered a 64-63 defeat the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why Salem Hills lost, don't look at Jacoby Gustin. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Steven Taylor, who posted four points and six rebounds.

Spanish Fork's record is now 7-8. As for Salem Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Spanish Fork will face off against Springville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Springville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Spanish Fork likes a good challenge. As for Salem Hills, they will take on Maple Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Salem Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.8 points per game this season.
