Soccer Recap: Alleghany Comes Up Short

Alleghany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They came up short against Patrick County, falling 6-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Patrick County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in April.

Alleghany's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Patrick County, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Alleghany is set to face off against their familiar foe Glenvar at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Patrick County will square off against rival Carroll County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
