Donna came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Valley View Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Redskins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kaylee-Star Howell paced Donna's offense, picking up 16 kills. Howell got some help from Olivia Ramirez and her 16 assists. Desiree Guerra controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Donna's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Valley View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Donna wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Porter on the 26th. As for Valley View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Santa Maria on the 26th.
