Baseball Recap: Brookfield Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Monday. Brookfield fell 5-2 to Trenton. Brookfield was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Trenton earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

Brookfield saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trayce Switzer, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Brookfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Trenton, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brookfield will take on Carrollton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Trenton, they will challenge Bishop LeBlond at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
