Volleyball Recap: Madeira Extends Winning Streak to Three

Madeira had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool Trailblazers.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Madeira was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14.

Evie Schiller paced Madeira's offense, picking up nine kills. Schiller got some help from Dee Dee O'Malley and her 15 assists. O'Malley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Madeira's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Madeira and Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS see the court they'll take on Finneytown at 6:30 p.m. on the 26th. As for Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool, their break will end when they face Liberty Bible Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th.
