Volleyball Recap: New Glarus Comes Up Short

New Glarus saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Shullsburg Miners by a score of 2-1.

Among those leading the charge was Isabelle Wiegel, who had 12 digs and one assist.

New Glarus' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Shullsburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, New Glarus will challenge Cambridge at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Glarner Knights their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Shullsburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Southwestern on the 30th.
