Basketball Recap: Fishers Finds Playoff Glory Versus Crown Point

Fishers extended their postseason success on Saturday against Crown Point. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 73-48 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fishers to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jason Gardner, who went 8-for-11 en route to 18 points and five assists. Gardner is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. Millen Mccartney was another key player, shooting 83% from the field on his way to 14 points and three steals.

The victory keeps Fishers at an undefeated 30-0. As for Crown Point, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 23-3 record.

Fishers has already played their next contest, a 67-66 defeat against Jeffersonville on the 29th. Crown Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
