Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Denver Christian

Denver Christian had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Prospect Ridge Academy Miners as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Thunder, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Denver Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 25-23.

Denver Christian was led to victory by Anna Price and Amina Weber. Price had five digs and two aces, while Weber had six digs and five kills. Weber is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least five every time she's taken the court this season.

Denver Christian's record now sits at 15-4. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 13-2 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Denver Christian and Front Range Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, they will take on Kent Denver at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
