Volleyball Recap: Highland Prep Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Highland Prep lost against Yuma Catholic back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Honey Badgers came up short against the Shamrocks, falling 3-0. The Honey Badgers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Highland Prep took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-16.

Yuma Catholic was led to victory by Audrina Payan and Abbi Olsen. Payan had nine digs and three assists, while Olsen had five assists and three digs. That's the most assists Payan has posted over her last three matches. Lainee Clarke also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Highland Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Yuma Catholic, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-1.
