Volleyball Recap: Decatur Falls to Buckhorn in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Decatur unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buckhorn Bucks on Thursday. The Red Raiders have struggled against the Bucks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23.

Coincidentally, Decatur and Buckhorn will both be playing Brewer the next time they take the court. The Bucks will head out to face the Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Red Raiders will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
