After losing to Denver East the last time they met, Battle Mountain decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Huskies skirted past the Angels 3-2.

Battle Mountain's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Denver East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Battle Mountain will head out on the road to challenge Glenwood Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Demons will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Denver East, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Fountain-Fort Carson on the 25th.
