Softball Recap: Kenosha Tremper Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Kenosha Tremper was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of the Kenosha Bradford Red Devils by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Red Devils: they've now lost seven in a row.

Sophia Murphy spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits.

On the hitting side, Mallory Meier was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Kenosha Tremper's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Kenosha Bradford, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kenosha Tremper will challenge Beaver Dam at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Kenosha Bradford, they will welcome Indian Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
