Soccer Game Preview: Tenino vs. Ilwaco

Tenino is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Ilwaco a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Tenino Beavers will host the Ilwaco Fishermen at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Tenino fell victim to Elma and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to the Eagles. That's two games in a row now that Tenino have lost by exactly seven goals.

Meanwhile, Ilwaco also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Raymond/South Bend on Tuesday, falling 17-0. While losing is never fun, Ilwaco can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Raymond/South Bend are ranked 56th).

Ilwaco's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Tenino, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
