Volleyball Recap: Monday's Loss Ends Apple Valley's Winning Streak

If Apple Valley was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Granite Hills on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sun Devils fell just short of the Hesperia Christian Patriots by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Sun Devils' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Apple Valley wouldn't go down easily and took Hesperia Christian into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-17, 25-21, 20-25, 15-13.
